General & Preventive

The foundation of a healthy smile, thorough exams, gentle cleanings, and prompt care when something’s wrong.

What we offer

Everyday care

Exams & cleanings

Routine exams, professional cleanings, X-rays as needed and oral-cancer screening, usually every six months.

Tooth-colored fillings

Natural-looking composite fillings that repair cavities and blend right in.

Root canals

Relieve pain and save an infected tooth, comfortably under anesthetic.

Extractions

Gentle removal when a tooth can’t be saved, including wisdom teeth.

Routine care that heads off bigger problems

Most dental problems are cheaper, easier and more comfortable to deal with early. Regular cleanings and exams are how we catch a small cavity before it needs a crown, or spot gum trouble before it costs you a tooth. For most people that means a visit roughly every six months.

A checkup here is not rushed. We clean thoroughly, take digital X-rays only when they are due, and take the time to talk through what we see. If something needs attention we lay out the options and the cost plainly, and if everything looks good, we will happily tell you that too.

Questions

Frequently asked

How often should I come in?+

For most people, a cleaning and exam every six months keeps problems small and catches them early.

Are your fillings tooth-colored?+

Yes. We use natural-looking composite that matches your teeth.

Do root canals hurt?+

Modern root canals relieve pain; the procedure itself is comfortable under local anesthetic.

What happens at a cleaning?+

A hygienist removes plaque and tartar and polishes your teeth, and we check for decay and gum health, with X-rays as needed.

My gums bleed when I brush, is that normal?+

Occasional bleeding can be an early sign of gum disease, so it’s worth mentioning at your visit and we’ll address it early.

Do you see the whole family?

Yes. We care for adults and children, so families can be seen in one place. For young kids, early visits are mostly about comfort and building good habits.

How can I avoid cavities between visits?

Brushing twice a day, flossing, and easing off sugary drinks does most of the work. At your visits we flag any spots that need extra attention so problems do not sneak up on you.
